BSc in Mathematics-Advanced Stream 2008 and MPhil in Mathematics 2010 graduate Ho-Chung Siu has been awarded a scholarship from the Stanford University to further his PhD studies in pure mathematics. He won the International Mathematics Olympiad Silver Award prior to his early admission to HKUST
BSc in Biochemistry 2009 graduate Xiuye Chen further pursued her PhD studies at Harvard University. She was a Top Scorer (Science Stream) at the Beijing Joint Entrance Examination in 2005
BSc in Chemistry 2007 graduate Alice Sin-Hang Chan pursued a Master’s Degree at the University of Waterloo, Canada and subsequently, PhD studies at the University of Alberta, Canada. She has also published a reference book for the Singapore high school syllabus
BSc in Physics 2003 graduate Vic Kam-Tuen Law pursued his PhD studies at Brown University. He was the first postdoctoral fellow of HKUST Institute for Advanced Study and MIT, USA; he then joined HKUST as an Assistant Professor in the Physics Department in June 2011
BSc in Mathematics 2003 graduate Ronald Lok-Ming Lui obtained his PhD degree at the University of California Los Angeles. He then further pursued his postdoctoral studies at Harvard University. He is now Assistant Professor at the Chinese University of Hong Kong
BSc in Mathematics 1999 graduate Marco Chik-Ho Wong is currently the Business Development Director of Cup Magazine Publishing Limited. He is also a mentor for the HKUST School of Science MenTernship Program

BSc in Physics 1998 graduate Francis Ching-Kwong Kwok founded Radica Systems Limited a year after his graduation with support from HKUST. He is currently the CEO of Radica, a company that has won numerous awards.
